Leigh-Anne Mulrey has developed extensive expertise in her close to fifteen years of practice focusing on various facets of state and federal trial and appellate litigation matters. Following her clerkship with Justice Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court, Ms. Mulrey commenced employment with a litigation boutique firm that specialized in a vast variety of legal matters, including complex commercial litigation, employment and other contractual disputes, and the defense of white-collar and other criminal matters.
Having actively participated in jury trials in several of the state and federal courts of New Jersey and New York, Ms. Mulrey has gained vast knowledge and experience in a multitude of practice areas and garnered proven and effective interpersonal skills. Ms. Mulrey has managed all aspects of intricate civil and criminal trial and appellate practice on the state and federal levels, and has engendered the trust and confidence of her clients through her unrelenting desire to combat the various complexities of the practice law in the pursuit of justice. Fueled by passion, and undying dedication, Ms. Mulrey has earned a reputation for her implementation of creative, logical, and lateral resolutions, successfully resolving disputes in court and otherwise in unique and efficacious manners.
Ms. Mulrey received her B.S., summa cum laude, from Northeastern University, and graduated a member of the Order of the Coif from Rutgers School of Law – Newark. For the past eleven years, Ms. Mulrey has consistently been selected and recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star member of the legal profession. Amongst her appointment to the Criminal Justice Act Panel, in which she was entrusted to represent indigent defendants on an appointed basis in federal court, Ms. Mulrey has served as a trustee and lectured on multiple occasions for the professional organizations of which she is a member, including the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey, the New Jersey Association for Justice, and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.
In addition to being admitted to practice in the state courts of New Jersey and New York, Ms. Mulrey is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
