Lawyer Overview

Lauramarie Tubito focuses her practice on various civil law matters. Ms. Tubito is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. She earned her J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and her B.A. from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.

While in law school, Ms. Tubito participated in countless hours of pro bono work helping others. She was an advocate for victims of domestic violence while operating under a student practice order at the White Plains Family Court. She also provided legal information and brief services to clients at a walk-in clinic in White Plains, New York for the Pace Women’s Justice Center. Ms. Tubito also assisted clients on various issues at the Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in Spring Valley, New York.

During law school, Ms. Tubito was accepted into a prestigious program known as New York’s Pro Bono Scholars Program wherein only a select few students of highest distinction were able to participate. This enabled Ms. Tubito to sit for the Uniform Bar Exam prior to her law school graduation date.

Before joining M. Ross & Associates LLC, Ms. Tubito served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Bonnie J. Mizdol, A.J.S.C. for the 2019-2020 Court Term where she worked on probate, civil, criminal and high-profile family matters. During her clerkship, Ms. Tubito directed complex multi-party jurisdictional consolidations and venue transfers and gained experience with matters related to the Open Public Records Act.
